🐦Bird 🐦Therapy🐦

Just love birds and butterflies and gardens. The birds bring me hope and company when lonely. They are always near. Their morning song brings the greatest joy to my soul. Their flight is wondrous, their calls and tending to their young and work in communion - brings me hope, life purpose and joy.

Hi dear @Former-Member,

Birds are so beautiful.  To think Father God created them and tended to them, clothes and feeds them. I had 2 budgies, a blue and yellow green one.  They were so beautiful.  Father God coloured their feathers with amazing colours.

I hope you are having a lovely day,

Your dear friend,

@BambiFawn there is a beautiful Indigenous story of how birds got their coloured feathers. I wish I could remember it to share it with you ...

Re: 🐦Bird 🐦Therapy🐦

Thanks for the video link @greenpea. Love to hear Aboriginal stories.
I used to have a pet galah. He was so talkative. Would really keep people entertained. He stayed with a neighbour when I went away. He came back after a few days saying "ahh choo - bless you". One of the kids had a cold. He also learnt a swear word. Ignored him when he used it.
I don't have a pet bird anymore. I miss having one.
But as I sit in my backyard now, I can hear 5 different bird songs. Just focusing on listening to their singing - is meditative and relaxing to me.
