Centre of Excellence in Peer Support
For anyone wanting to know more about peer support, the Centre of excellence in Peer Support is a really good website to check out. This project is based in Victoria and the website provides lots of information about the evidence base for peer support, as well as information on services available, and info for people (consumers or families/carers) who are interested in learning more about working in peer support.
You can also ask specific questions and someone will get back to you with more info.
The website is here: http://www.peersupportvic.org/

Re: Centre of Excellence in Peer Support
Thanks for this information, I have looked at the website and the training available.
This would be a great way to support others living with mental illness or as a carer.
