Re: The great yoga adventure

Oh no @Phoenix_Rising Smiley SurprisedSmiley Sad - I hope you get better as soon as possible!

Re: The great yoga adventure

Thanks @Former-Member,

It is super annoying. It has totally derailed my yoga-ing. Given that yoga-ing and playing my violin are my two main go-to things for calming big feelings, you can probably see how resting my right arm isn't going so well! My GP did say that feeling a bit of pain in it isn't a sign that I'm doing further damage, but I'm still a little scared. I'm sure it will get better soon.

I can imagine - it sound so annoying and difficult - especially, given that yoga is something that really helps you calm your big feelings. Yes, I'm sure it will get better soon! Smiley Happy

Re: The great yoga adventure

I know how you feel @Phoenix_Rising. My daily yoga sessions were so grounding for me too. Likewise my 10kms plus of walking and jogging whilst listening to music. I am getting back into some light walking but it doesn't have that same effect yet. My arm feels like lead, I have to put the sling back on and I feel wasted instead of envigorated.

I get scared that the pain I feel during my three times daily rehab exercises are doing damage (like ripping the screws out of my shoulder) but the physio and ortho guys say it's okay.

Hopefully we'll both be back into doing the things we enjoy sooner rather than later..

Re: The great yoga adventure

hope your elbow gets better soon @Phoenix_Rising.  i've had tennis elbow years ago and it was quite painful and took a while to get better.

Face yoga

I just love the cautionary note at the end: "You basically look ridiculous doing these exercises — so you probably don't want to do them while you're commuting." Smiley LOL

Re: The great yoga adventure

Hmm, I'm interested @frog.  What bit of this was it that reminded you of us?  Was it by any chance the "aging" bit?  Looks like I need to start some facial yoga then!  Thanks for that Frog.  Woman Wink

No @Former-Member not the aging bit as applies to everyone else, though I could do with looking 3 years younger!
