@Former-Member complex sampling involving clustering is where there is a very large range/number to be sampled from. Instead of spending time/resources to research ALL possible people/objects etc. a smaller representative group is selected therefore it is easier to to do in terms of time/resources (the logistical stuff). This type of sampling can be less efficient statistically as it may not cover enough of a wide range of people/variables etc. to gain true and reliable results in whatever area is being researched.

I didn't answer this one @Former-Member - As power decreases - what happens to type II errors? Type II errors increase.

Ooosh, I’m not going to win any friends answering this one….I am a fan of Milo but I don’t drink it. Not a fan of Nutella at all
Are you studying some stats? It’s been a while since I tried my hand stats, and I’m not sure I went so advanced as to understand complex sampling, I’m glad someone else @Zoe7 kind of gets it for you :I
5 random things – My fav animal is the octopus, I am a messy person and hate cleaning, I can understand Spanish at a ‘pretty okay’ level, I love drinking peppermint tea, and am becoming a master at crocheting a chevron blanket.

Hello,
Ok so a little about me.
I work in mental health and addictions. After I had my kids I went back and studied so I could help people as its where my heart as always been. I did start studying these things back in high school and have always volunteered and worked in this industry in some form.
I am trying to keep juggling the usual stuff like work and family, never easy, but I love helping people and that is my passion.
I normally get the hand over shifts on Sane around 7am - 8am but I float around here and there.
I love reading all your posts, I think this forum is amazing the way it supports people. I will do my best to help you all along your journeys.
Take care, MummaMia
