Peer Group Chat // Cultivating Courage & Resilience // Thursday 13th April 2023, 7-8:30PM AEDT

Re: Peer Group Chat // Cultivating Courage & Resilience // Thursday 13th April 2023, 7-8:30PM AEDT

It can feel like that sometimes, it's okay to not be able to get back up for a bit. Sit and rest and when you're ready you will be able to. Sending you lots of hugs ❤️ @Captain24

Oh @Captain24, I'm so sorry to hear that. I've been there. It's tough! For me, in some of those times, it's been a case of waiting a while until I feel like I can get back up again. At other times, there have been others who have been able to help me back up again. I'm wondering if there might be others around like this for you @Captain24, whether they be informal supports or more formal like professionals?  Can you think of anyone who might be able to help you back up?

On a semi-related note, would love to see you over on PGC tonight if you can make it- we're talking about the Power of Possibility. And/or, I might pose a question for you to consider on that theme, but a little related to this, over on the thread after at some stage 😊

It’s so tough @TideisTurning. I do have my professionals doing their best. I’m about to head in and see my psychiatrist which I’m quite scared about. I will hopefully be on tonight’s chat.

Hello @TideisTurning.  I Loved your delta Goodrem. song.   Music  is so important to me,  as is humour

theatre,  nature.  friendship. . . .   I should have just said , . .  life   hey..

I am sorry I have missed so many posts,  I'm in the process of the big..  downsize,  and I lost one where you put forward a real brainteaser for me,  so sorry I didnt respond to it.   While we are on it,  may I

take the opportunity to comment on how much of yourselves you and  @amber22   put into getting people moving and thinking.   I'm sure I am not the only one to ever say how much its appreciated.

Certainly livened me up a bit.     Couldnt even use a computor till I joined Sane.  .  .

Now I better say that I will be  Very  scarce on Sane for a while,  as I have more than a few challenges

With a move to the coast,  and handing over the reins of the farm  to some eager young minds.

Trying to get through it before next spring.   I'll be with my cousin on the coast. . .  and fingers crossed,   I have a warm feeling the book keeper is coming too. .

Life really can be beautiful when we wear the right glasses.

very best wishes to all  and a song for you..  https://youtu.be/CnQ8N1KacJc  tonys  moonbase one

We’ll miss you around here @tonys, but look forward to when you stop by again. Those posts you may still have to catch up on, and any in between, will be waiting for you when you're ready. I don't feel like there's necessarily a time limit on any of them- to my mind, one example of the beauty of Forums! 😊

Thank you so much for sharing that song too. It's actually one that was sung regularly by someone I did after school activities with growing up, so brings back very fond memories! I hadn't thought of it in the context of courage and resilience before, but it makes sense in terms of making the most of life and reminds me of another song (with a story thrown in- content warning for chronic illness on that- just the song here for anyone who may be affected by that) which has a similar message about cultivating the courage to do what you want to do in life and live life to the full. ❤️

Thankyou @TideisTurning   Deep  waters that song,   had not heard it before.   I came across an Idea

and question a few weeks ago from you that had me stumped.  Comprehension of a question,  is a big hurdle

for me.  So Sometimes I wait for what others say,  and that helps illuminate the direction of a conversation.  Its just Autism at work.   I then lost the post.

One day when I have time ,  I'll go digging again.

I do get a real buzz from all your challenging theories though.  You put real passion into your work.

It shows.   So..   please send those gems,  and if I cant get back, I know you'll understand.  Either I don't comprehend fully,  or just flat out in the relocating phase,  and then are also times when a mate is in difficulty on sane and my little brain is totally immersed trying to get a smile out of them.

I know,  you know, what thats all about . .

OH   and the poetry and songs you and @amber22  send,  always valued and appreciated too.

Very best  wishes..      tonys
