I like the idea of releasing anger in a constructive way like that @Captain24, good work! I also find it helpful to work my anger out with something like exercise first. oftentimes this will help clear the fog anger can sometimes create and allow me to work through whatever may have caused the anger in a, and clear headspace.
I feel like being on the receiving end of anger is something else altogether @chibam! the reaction you've described, to shut down in the face of anger, seems totally human to me. I'm pretty sure it's what I do too! It sounds like your experiences with anger have given you some great insights into when anger may or may not be helpful And the importance of taking time out and possibly circling back to resolve issues that have caused anger.
@Appleblossom, I feel like that's a really cool example of when channelling a feeling of anger might be helpful in order to increase your chances of being heard- at least initially in the moment.
