Re: Share a cuppa?

wants to work in a cafe and just got a little part job doing that @Abner

just want to keep an eye on her for the moment it’s a difficult time turning 18 in the care system I won’t go into detail but just want to make sure she has all the right support in place 💙 i get a bit worried when this happens

Re: Share a cuppa?

I do have to go so I can go to bed and get a good night sleep and hopefully start to feel better tomorrow, and hopefully none of the kids want to do surprise science experiments tomorrow like they did today! @tyme @Abner thank you for a nice chat sorry couldn’t stay for longer

Re: Share a cuppa?

No way do I brew kombucha at home LOL. I barely cook let alone brew kombucha 🙂 @Former-Member

I buy Remedy's all the time and i find I am soooooo thirsty after having it. I've tried all the flavours and used to buy the 1 litre bottle. Now, I'm sticking to sparkling water...until my next fad.

I'm hopping into bed soon... I hope every one has a refreshing sleep! (me included lol).

I feel so much better after hanging out with all of you.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hahahaha @ArraDreaming - science experiments... that's ALL you have to say. I get it LOL

Have a good night 🙂 Thanks for the chat

Re: Share a cuppa?

I’ll just leave you with this last mental image…

- milk

- a 5 year old

that’s all I have say.

good night @tyme

Re: Share a cuppa?

LOL @ArraDreaming !

Re: Share a cuppa?

You'll probably experience some pain for a little while @ArraDreaming because eventhough the painkiller is anti-inflamatory whatever inflamation is still there will have to taken down gradually. Inflamation occurs to try to protect the nerves, it's the same principle as airbags in a car, it's the body's fightback so for the nerves to get rest the pain killer relieves pressure on them, but has to gradually bring the swelling down, otherwise the brain wouldn't cope with the pressure. We actually register physical pain in our brains, not in the nerves, the nerves tell the brain there's an injury and then the brain tells us by way of pain. So in a way physical pain can be good, even though it can be excruciating...but it isn't good if there's too much of it, and often that's where opioid painkillers are very necessary, they don't automatically take the pain away when pain is serious, but they bring it down to a bearable level and then start the mending process.

Re: Share a cuppa?

That's understandable @ArraDreaming, she's got a very caring brother looking out for her. You'll make sure she's ok, and if you need help with her care, there's help available.

How are you feeling this morning? It's beautiful weather here right now and I'm about to go for a run myself.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Movie day here @Abner

its so horrible out there was thinking about going to the indoor trampoline park but we might just stay home

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @tyme, kombucha softdrinks are also carbonated. In fact they and kvass softdrinks are two of the few softdrinks that are actually healthy, and kombucha softdrinks you can drink every day with no ill effects, kvass softdrinks on the other hand, you still should only every so often. You can also get it healthy levels of kvass in rye bread. Maybe for lunch you might make a rye bread sandwich, some kombucha tea(?), and sparkling water.
