Yeah they are @tyme, but when I was having a bit more of a read about them seems they have been endangered for some time (that was an interesting for me to read!) but yes apparently not a lot of numbers.

Did you know birds can turn off half their brain and go to sleep and leave the other half awake in case of predators? @Chasingsunsets Why can we do that! I'd get a lot more done!

Lovely bird photos!

The most amazing (colour) bird I've seen with my own eyes is the Lilac-Breasted Roller in southern Africa. https://ebird.org/species/librol2

I love purple and green. And to me this birds colours are simply amazing.

But yours are amazing because they are local and you can see them without travel 😍 if lucky enough to find one!
