Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

Hello @TAB @StuF @Historylover @Bunniekins @ENKELI

Just did my morning detox routine with lemon water, juicings and smoothies. I think I have all my bases covered, I just got to do lymphatic drainage and a few energy routines, meditate then get the day going. I'm now drinking cucumber juice each morning apart from celery juice. Cucumber juice is great for kidneys, my kidney function was a bit lower than usual on my bi-annual bloodwork so have introduced an antiviral supplement to flush pathogens and viruses out of my kidneys and do cucumber juicing. I know the kidney foundation mentioned cucumber juice in an article and the healer I follow said the same thing about its overall enhanced effects on kidneys so will get additional bloodwork and discuss it with my GP again. These meds really work the kidneys hard.

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

@SmilingGecko   hi beautiful and good morning! do you have problems with your lympathic system.  i need compression stockings because of lympodema in my lower legs. i also use a wedge pillow for my legs when lying down. what else do you recommend?

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

Hello @PeppyPatti how are you going today? Are you enjoying your "new do" haircut? I need to get mine done but have been putting it off. My hair has grown long. I prefer it longer but it needs to be styled properly.  Still stuck in the 1980's lol Its milder weather after a hot spell the weekend looks good. Have a nice day honey.

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

I hope the cucumber juice does the trick @SmilingGecko !

Have a good day 🙂

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

off the top of my head I would say try to drink more water maybe @SmilingGecko not that you were asking. and others might say lay off coffee etc.Exercise doesnt hurt as means blood goes through system more often? I had bad kidney readings a few times.I had taken meds took close to test. also if dehydrated when doing any blood work would get lower readings ?

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

I've been to the library this morning @SmilingGecko and I am set for the weekend. I am as puzzled on how to use Libby as you are to connect a flat screen television—yet each of us has had no problem with the other's difficulty. Perhaps we're just bluffed by certain tasks which are simple enough but seem a little daunting.

I only have a small refrigerator freezer so no auditing required.

Pity that getting the bees dealt with in a more productive manner is so cumbersome and conditional. We don't have enough bees in Australia. Have you ever been stung?

It will be quiet here for the weekend. And that's nice too.

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

@TAB funny you should say that but diabetes educator said the same thing about drinking more water. GP didn't agree.  I don't have caffeine though. Got to exercise more but was living in thyroid hell until I could fix my thyroid. Its amazing how such a small gland can cause so much trouble TAB. I know how you feel. Maybe drink more water prior to test.

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

@Historylover Libby app on your computer is easy to do, you just ask the librarian or DIY at home. I can't remember how I signed up but you just need your library card number to access newspapers and magazines. Its brilliant all the current mags you can read. I like Money Magazine. If you are at home in front of your computer you could ring your librarian and they could walk you through it. Its very simple and once youre signed up you can really get into it.

I was stung many times as a child walking barefoot in grass. My parents used to make a poultice with a bandage. I haven't been stung by a bee since, but hang onto an epipen just in case. I needed the epipen for a dental extraction last year but think its a good idea for bees if you are likely to get anaphylaxis. Just precaution.

Now that you mention libby I may go and read some magazines! I don't think I've read some of this months magazines on offer. It will give me something to do

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

@Bunniekins I just follow a functional doctor I saw on facebook that uses massage points on the body to open the drainage channels in the lymphatic system.  Thats all I do! The info was freely available. Functional doctors are more preventative care and are the next tier up from GPs. They do all kinds of integrative practices but its costly, like $80 every ten minutes. People with money see them. I just get what is free. I used to follow a compounding chemist in Sydney that stocked all the alternate medicines and on their site that functional doctors use and they had a Buddha with mortar and pestle as their logo! If you read the site it had all the causes of disease plus even spiritual causes of disease. Pretty amazing for a chemist but it was a compounding chemist. I used to get my stash from them
