@Historylover  I don’t know if beach photo was near mine must’ve missed that. Are there no plants around lake? I love plants and they attract the birds which i also love. I put seeds out for the birds on my front room window sill.

Got tradies here atm. A parcel of new socks is arriving today - something to look forward to. Starting to get hungry. Will put lunch on to cook as soon as tradies finish.

@Historylover I used to win the workplace sweep all the time. They threatened to ban me. Lol. I buy lotto tickets. Won a significant sum in a lottery once.

Oh, it must've been another poster's photo. As I've been known to say, I can never remember which poster I have discussed what with🤔. Unfortunately. It's very scrubby, and path restricted—of course. I did see the most gorgeous bird there last time. It had a lot of blue colouring, but by the time I had got my phone camera ready, it had gone. I'll be paying more attention next time.

I got the consolation prize for my horse coming in last, last year, @GezzaP. This was a short while before I got the prize for putting the kitty off the mat in carpet bowls the most times for the year. We have a score sheet for such errors and I scooped the pool. I was a lucky child but it seems to have been a temporary state! I don't even bother buying tickets the days.

You must be lucky in games of chance @GezzaP. I win door prizes but thats about it. Won a few competitions as a child. Well am about to get organised. I need to buy new socks sometime soon. Bonds makes them so thin. When we had socks growing up they were thick and lasted. What happened? lol Enjoy the rest of your day
