I can’t cope

I know! I am such a nervous wreck before and after, but in the moment I feel SO free. 

This response tells me that performing is something you're really aligned with @Captain24. Can you imagine yourself performing again? 

It's a Broadway Jazz style routine, very camp and silly. hehe

I know you mentioned not feeling so good about yourself today and finding it hard to focus, that really must be a lot. I have many days like this too. I think it's harder when I put heaps of pressure on myself to show up in a certain way. What would it be like to really be where you're at and allow yourself to show up to things imperfectly? 💛

It’s the adrenaline. I don’t think I’ll ever perform again. 

Broadway Jazz is so good, I remember doing ‘All that Jazz’ and yes I sung it as I typed it! 

Just these naan things she found at Aldi  and some food for Pix. When I got up I saw the naan things on the bench and thought to myself how did I miss them this morning when I got home. Then I went to the fridge and Pix’z food was there so I figured they had been in. 

Im tired and suffering withdrawals, it’s not a good combination. I really don’t have much tonight. I didn’t go grocery shopping (so I’ll have to get up early and do that) I’m just deciding that I should get out of bed. I don’t know what I can do. I just have nothing. I know it’s not recovery focussed but I’ve been working so hard on that and today I just need a break from trying so hard to please others

She is undergoing a cancer scare and is really struggling with it. She is taking everything out on my brother. If he tries to be happy she says he doesn’t care. If he tries to be down she says he just wants her to get cancer and die. He can’t say or do anything right. 

He has reached out and asked mum to give her a call as she has no family and no one to talk to. I gave mum a list of self-care activities to give her. 
Is there anything other than self care that I can help her with or guide her into the right direction? To calm her down a bit? Apparently with self care she has lightened a little bit. I want to give her a call but I’m not sure what I can say to help. 

Is there anything I can say to my brother so he understands a little? 

He has reached out and she is reaching out so I just want to be able to support them in some way

You know, that's okay. You work SO hard - you're entitled to a bedrot day, in my opinion. 

No need to please here, the recovery-focused approach is for you. And sometimes surrendering to what we feel and caring for ourselves softly is the exact recovery we need.

Hehehe. I'm alright, just been braving the woes of bureaucracy lol. That and I need some new shirts for my cats - it's nearly flea treatment time!

I do use the same shirts but one of them is actually a bit small and I feel bad... Razz is chonkier than when I originally bought them!! So maybe a late-night Kmart trip in order lol. 

Anything good on tv? I recently started watching 30Rock... never seen it before but it's one of those classics!
