Hi Forum Friends todays self care has been watching my current favourite Netflix series New Amsterdam,trying to take a step back emotionally from worries,listening to music and getting plenty of sleep,eating regulary and staying hydratedHeart

Self care can be anything. It doesnt have to ne extravagant. It really could be something as simple as a cup of tea but here are some others

-painting finger or toe nails
- manicure/pedicure
-going to the hairdressers even for a wash/blowdry
-massage including self massages such as feet hands or neck to relieve some tension
- crosswords, soduku or findaword puzzles
-jigsaw puzzles
-crochet, knitting or cross stitch
-putting nice fresh sheets and quilt covers on.
-reading a book or magazine of some kind
-listening to music
-journalling
-meditation

Just putting a few ideas out there

Learnt this lesson again over the last few days: I haven't been walking enough, and my mood has gone down. Walking not the only factor, but it's significant...

All too easy to avoid in the colder months, but I must get back to it

Hi Everyone @outlander @Former-Member @Clawde and anyone else on this thread today Just thought Id mention how I kept myself busy and creative last night doing random things for self care I for some reason randomly started watching off road four wheel driving videos on video as well as kayaking videos must have felt a sense of being adventerous and curious about those things also really enjoyed watching metellica music videos and Led Zeppilen Music videos on youtube last night it gave me a sense of freedom,releif from negative thinking,have a great day everyoneHeart
