On Thursday 4th January 2023, we will be holding a Peer Group Chat on the topic of A 2023 Retrospective.
As we enter a new year, let’s look back at the year we’ve just lived and reflect on what we’ve experienced and the steps we’ve made in our journeys. Let’s come together to celebrate our achievements and the highlights from the year that’s been.
The event start times across Australia are below:
This is currently held in daylight savings hours:
WA: 4pm
NT: 5:30pm
SA: 6:30pm
QLD: 6pm
NSW, ACT, VIC & TAS: 7pm
For anyone unfamiliar with Peer Group Chats, each focuses on a specific topic and is guided by Peer Workers with lived experience of mental health issues and recovery, &/or caring for someone with complex mental health. A counsellor is also present as a moderator to help ensure a safe environment for individuals and the group. It is a space for us as peers to share our stories and experiences, and connect with those who are going through something similar.
Anyone is welcome to join! Tagging some members who may be interested below: @Snowie @scruffypuffball @7cough9 @Glisten @Blackbird11 @Shaz51 @Fiefke @Patches59 @Appleblossom @Meggle @Jacques @deshift @Captain24

Hi Everyone,
I want to throw a few questions out jumping off the back of this podcast episode which talks through self-reflection exercises and self-reflection around the EOY period. Reflecting on 2023 (i.e. if you compare where you are now to where you were this time last year), what progress, no matter how small or seemingly inconsequential, have you made? What progress are you most proud of? I'd love to hear so we can celebrate together, because it all counts! 😊

@TideisTurning I sold my previous home and bought a new home. This has seen me not feeling as alone plus happier within myself and can feel my self confidence increasing
