Share a cuppa?

Re: Share a cuppa?

My family has made a huge difference @tyme I agree!!
I never felt a love like it, and even though that scares the shit out of me that someone can love me that much, I have never felt so safe! All of them, my partner, the kids. Giving my family some of the opportunities I didn’t get and seeing their faces light up when I get home is the best feeling ever

Re: Share a cuppa?

One thing that helped in my letter (i believe) @ArraDreaming , is at the end of reporting the incident, I wrote a list of actionable outcomes and what I'd like to see come out of the inquiry.

This was all in dot points so that they could respond to each one accordingly - which they did.

Even today, I cannot re-read the report I made because it is too traumatic.

But here was my letter format:

1) Overview - who i am, why I'm writing this letter

2) describe the incident - events, dates, people

3) list of actionable outcomes - response for each point

4) thanks, and my contact details - re-iteration for the purpose of my writing

Awwwww! Thanks so incredible @ArraDreaming ! It must be the most incredible feeling to be THE BEST DAD IN THE WORLD!!!

Just always remember that, and it will help you through the toughest times.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Thanks @tyme great tips

I am going to write all my notes, all my points following that format and then I’m going to ask my partner to help me put it into a letter, she’s much smarter than I am! I am grateful for spellcheck and auto correct every day I am diagnosed dyslectic @tyme

And yes I am very grateful to have the best family in the world, love really heals. I remember holding our baby for the first time and I felt a lot of heaviness just leave my shoulders

You are making me cry @ArraDreaming . That is so lovely.

I was at the birth of my niece (I don't have my own children)... I cried when I saw her... I was awestruck that such a little human, so perfect, could be created and born...

Truly amazing @ArraDreaming !

Hi @tyme it is super quite tonight. Has been most of the day. How are you ?

My day was the same as yesterday - how was yours ? 😊

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hey @tyme  was it wedding day today? Or is that over the weekend??

just watching some tv…. Caved and paid for it.

I’d love a warm drink. My throat is sore from my ng tube… mum bought me in a chai and it was so nice and soothing.
