Re: Share a cuppa?

I hope you can find someone who can help @tyme

Re: Share a cuppa?

How was your day @tyme

Re: Share a cuppa?

I had a pretty good day @ArraDreaming - I went to a baby's first birthday. They had a big celebration. I didn't realise, but the couple had been wanting a baby for a long time. After having miscarriages, they finally had a son. Hence the elaborate thanksgiving for his first birthday. They were so grateful to have a child. The father cried when he thanked everyone and shared the story with the guests.

Re: Share a cuppa?

How special @tyme 1st birthdays always are but it sounds like there was an extra special reason to be grateful and celebrate the occasion

Re: Share a cuppa?

Secretly, I cried when I heard the story. The parents were truly so so grateful to have a child. @ArraDreaming .

What did you get up to today?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Nagging.... isn't that a mum's job? @Meowmy

Would you like a hot choc with marshmallows? It's hot here on my side, so I'm having a cool drink.

Re: Share a cuppa?

had some stuff at home to do in the yard so we hung outside for a bit, we took the kids to the pool they love swimming and then I had some quotes to do for work @tyme so kinda busy

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @Meowmy

Re: Share a cuppa?

For me, I feel so 'accomplished' when I finish projects for work @ArraDreaming .

Some people say I'm too busy and call me 'Mrs Busy'. However, if I didn't do the work, I find I stay in bed and do nothing.

So when I work, people say I work too much. When I don't work, people say I don't do anything.... it's hard to strike a balance for me. That's what I need to work on.

Do you find finishing a 'job' is fulfilling @ArraDreaming ?
