Share a cuppa?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yum that sounds amazing!! @Former-Member I'm glad you're having a cuppa tonight. My day was pretty okay today, we had a crazy storm where I live but it was quite nice to get some rain. What did you get up to today?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yes, @Former-Member, I've sung for that musician before, she's very enthusiastic about helping me develop my voice, and getting me to put myself in front of audiences more often as a soloist as well as an ensemble singer. Like most singers I don't have natural volume, so sound production needs development, but the advantage is I can develop my voice to sing solo and still sing in ensemble. Apparently if you have a smaller voice you can train your body to project for solo singing, but if you've a naturally big voice, it's harder to train for ensemble and can hurt that voice. I was feeling bad about my lack of volume until Natalie and my friend Quinn told me that.

Re: Share a cuppa?

How interesting @Abner let me know how it all works out for you 😊.

Re: Share a cuppa?

@amber22    hello amber.   By now you are probly all tucked in and warm but just thought I would pop in and thankyou for your kind invitation and let you know I did not forget you.  I hope you had a relaxing evening.  Isn't the sound of rain on the tin just magic.  My dinner went as well as could be,  given the participants.  My book keeper is  Austrian and realy smart.  I'm autistic, brain injury and very twilight zone.  Lets just say,  she is very polite,  runs rings around me,  and say no more.

Had the end of work feast with the pickers and thats always fun.   I pressed some grenache grapes in a old iron bath tub just after the bushfires and we enjoy it after a hard days picking, along with damper and olives and various sausages i dry in the basement.

Now,  if It sounds like this place is,   one big eat  .   .   .  it is.      French Italian background,

What hope have I got.       Any way,  today was just one more day that I thought,   Its great to be alive.

So I do hope you will tell me one day a bit about yourself Amber.   I love hearing about the different worlds people live in and how they meander through them.  May your dreams bring peace and tomorrow smell like fresh earth after the rains.

Tonys   moon base one.              Oh    sorry.  .   .      we French do love to chat

Re: Share a cuppa?

I will @Former-Member. I'm quite excited about this, and continuing my work with painting, drawing and making puppets..

Re: Share a cuppa?

Good morning! @tonys You were right I was tucked in for bed by the time I got your message, but I am back here again now 🙂 Rain on the tin is one of the best sounds, we've been having some lovely sunny days for the last few weeks but it was so nice to have a big storm.

That sounds like a lovely dinner that you had. I haven't had damper in so long! I love it with honey on top. I had some stir fry for dinner last night that I cooked. It was really nice but pretty basic because I haven't felt very creative with my cooking abilities recently. I am more of a baker and like making sweet treats.

Today I am working and then I am going out for dinner to celebrate a belated valentines day. I hope that you're having a great day today, look forward to chatting when you're on 🙂

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yum @amber22    You would get on well with my book keeper.   She bakes all sorts in my wood stove, and a major contributor to my  growing shadow on the wall.    My stir-fry's always end  up looking like the bottom of the chook scraps bucket.  I'm missing peanut oil and the frenetic zeal and  haste of a   clever juggler.     All tips gratefully accepted.

I hope you have a most wonderful valentines dinner.     I never had a valentines,   on valentines.

Thats just plain bad economics.      You wait a night and you get the pic of the tables,  And discounted flowers . . . .   my goodness,   I'm a tight asss.    Kidding...   My entire life I have never been on time. . .   Not even to your nice ,  have a cuppa get togethers,   Well My thoughts are always with all of you anyway,   pleasant dreams folks .         tonys moon base 1
