@Bow , so glad to hear your daughter didn't have COVID. Did you end up taking her to church?

No @tyme and she is still unwell. Maybe starting to get better this afternoon, but called healthdirect this arvo, and then they organised for a dr to call me. Now she is booked in with her gp for tomorrow. Whether she needs to go or not, but need a medical certificate for school.

Oh! Her school requires a med cert? @Bow I thought that was only necessary if they had assignments due or exams.

Yep! @tyme Anything longer than 3 days and they need a med certificate. They are pretty strict with attendance, which is fine. When we went overseas I had to fill in a form and it had to be approved by the principal.

I like idea that but I'm not sure how it would work in a lot of schools @Bow . I think it would have to be an entire upheaval of a number of industries e.g. travel agencies, resorts etc. The reason so many family go away during school time is because tickets double or triple during school holidays! I feel sorry for parents who have to go back and see relatives.
The department of education has strict guidelines around attendance, but when it comes to the crunch, they really can't do much about it I think.
But yes, I think what your daughter's school has in place is very reasonable.
What did you get up to today, @Bow ?

I had a gp appointment this morning @tyme and got my bloods done. Bit of a rough appointment. I’m very much on edge at the moment. Really didn’t wanna be there.
Stopped off at the shops but didn’t stay long, too edgy. Been home on the bike/treadmill this afternoon.
Going to go jump in the shower shortly to see if that helps.
what about you??
