@SmilingGeckomaybe I will go to library for a read of the newspaper occasionally. Hearing you about subscription costs. My dad worked on them, old school. Yes, the world has changed.
@GezzaP agreeing the newspapers are not great. My last paper subscription was the weekend Age but it was 20 years ago now. What to do to stay informed? I just read the free front page occasionally and follow up on things that strike an interest. Eg recently followed up on Afghan Pakistani conflict. It has been going on for a while but low media coverage. Sources do matter.

Just about to go for a walk @StuF @TAB @GezzaP
@GezzaP have wondered about walking earlier in the day but I'm on the maximum dosage of my meds and I normally dont have much oomph in the mornings.
But done more vigorous detox than usual may be able to flip my schedule. I surprised myself I walked to the GP at 10:30am normal time (not daylight time) on the weekend. I get so tired after my walk. By dinner I dont want to cook. I think walking in mornings is probably a better idea. Will see how I go.

I hear you about the morning's meds...I'm fortunately on a relatively low dose, but still don't exactly shine in the mornings lol

Yes @SmilingGecko it is better for most people to walk in the morning. I eat my main meal at lunch time. So don’t have to cook in the evening if don’t feel like it. Just had some vegemite toast. Got lasagne already cooked if I get hungry I just have to zap it.
