Just letting you know I've turned off email notifications but I still hope to check the forums for a day or two. I may go AWOL after that.

I have eye surgery Tuesday and there's a (low)  risk I could lose vision as I'm already blind in one eye.

Dear @Dimity ❤ Thanks for checking in. I've been sending wishes /prayers you won't lose your vision, and will continue to. 

I'm glad you have a family member helping in the days after your surgery.

I want to commend you for your massive effort recently to deal with hard things like paperwork and the house. 

It must be a very scary surgery and I'm also sending wishes for your anxiety and MH.

Hello @Shaz51  @Appleblossom @NatureLover my eye surgery was successful.  It was about 12 hours before my sight was good enough to cope. I couldn't have got by without help and support from a very kind couple who took me in and  guided and looked after me. 

@Shaz51 my eye surgeon who specialises in cataract and cornea said he's had many with one eye. So when the time comes please know there's people who can help. 

I'm still feeling rather shaken, and am now home alone again. Highly relieved but it will take a while to settle.
