Re: The great yoga adventure

Thanks @Former-Member, I went well with the Corpse Pose last week.  Much better at home than in public!  So all good.

@Phoenix_Rising - no more classes?  What a shame.  However we can always look back at all the previous lessons from the past 6 months.  Which I will definitely do.  Thanks so much for your time and efforts over the past 6 months, its very much appreciated.

Now - the Tree Pose.  Yes I do this one in my gym classes quite regularly.  I can do this one.

Hi to the other yogi's @Shaz51 @Adge @Former-Member.  Hope you are all nicely balanced.

Now for a very Christmassy Tree Pose for me.

Re: The great yoga adventure

Good evening everybody,

I have just got home from my yoga class and I feel so good for having gone. I'm planning to have my second private lesson next week.

@Former-Member I'm planning to go through the thread and figure out where all the videos are, and then put a table of contents on the front page. Given there are almost 100 pages in the thread, it might take me a little while. Smiley Happy Maybe after I've done that and everyone is brilliant at all the poses we have covered thus far, we will continue on again. Smiley Happy

Re: The great yoga adventure

@Shaz51 It sounds like we may have to resume our virtual classes in the new year then! We have six months worth of poses so maybe we could just start back at the beginning and go through them all again. I had hoped to have a private lesson this week, but I hurt my arm playing in the garden and I am trying to rest it to help it get better (because apparenty constantly poking at it and trying to use it to see if it is better yet isn't the way to make it better!). Smiley Very Happy

@Shaz51 I do not understand the concept of hugs, but I feel all warm and fuzzy that you think I'm awesome. Smiley Happy

Re: The great yoga adventure

No I'm not well-balanced yet @Former-Member I still have a long way to go...

@Phoenix_Rising's idea of starting from the beginning - & going through all the poses again sounds like a good place to start.

Maybe I can come up with some weird & wonderful poses that we haven't done yet.

Have you seen some of those pictures of Yogis all twisted & tied up in strange ways (like a pretzel)?

I don't think I'm quite up to that stage yet...

Re: The great yoga adventure

I've been neglectful of my yoga-ing, I'm sorry to say.

I'm very reliant on my classes (2 per week).

My yoga classes don't run during school holidays - so I get out of practice...

My classes start again tomorrow (finally)...

No one in any of my classes does their own private practice (at home) they say.

So we all rely on our classes...
