Re: Share a cuppa?

Hey @tyme @Meowmy  I agree, I am like that, I am finishing some written quotes just now to send off but I won’t feel quite accomplished for the day until that’s done

Re: Share a cuppa?

I love gardening I’m glad to find someting im passionate about and get paid for it I remember when I was younger people saying I would never get a job the Way I was going @Meowmy

Re: Share a cuppa?

And you've got an amazing story to tell @ArraDreaming .

Unfortunately, I can't say the education system is a one-size-fits-all. There are many that just don't fit in our type of education system, yet these students have incredible potential in their area of interest.

To be honest, I don't think school was for me. I would have learn more as an apprentice. School was like a dark cloud over my head. I don't feel like I started learning until after I finished school.

And @Meowmy , here's your hot choc!

Re: Share a cuppa?

Is your mum's health well? @Meowmy

Re: Share a cuppa?

I’m with you @tyme

I spent most of my school days either not there or going in the morning to get my name ticked off and then spent most of the day just walking around the school, riding my bike around the school or just pretty much doing whatever I wanted and no amount of sitting down learning would ever appeal to me, I was quite isolated because of the way I behaved, I remember a teacher saying to another teacher behind my back they thought I couldn’t hear “when some of the kids start to get jobs, he might surprise us” “no I don’t think he’ll make it i just don’t see him doing much” they thought I couldn’t hear jokes on them now

Re: Share a cuppa?

and I remember when I did something pretty bad (shared on here before) and they told me I’d end up in jail, ha
